It is lightweight and easy to handle at just 11.6 kg (25.5 lbs). It's easy to install and use, too, with two shaft lengths, a stable handle on the shaft head, a handy lever for quick steering adjustments (360° // ±60° // fixed), and flexible tilt and trim positions. The Essential Package ships with a 1080 Wh integrated lithium pack that weighs just 8.6 kg (19 lbs). Or, upgrade to the Range Package which benefits from a whopping 1425 Wh battery that boosts your range by up to 32%. A click-and-play design means no more cables to connect, and a handy LED lets you know charge status at a glance, even when your battery is not connected. Simply plug in to charge with the fast 180 W mains charger, charge directly from the boat with the 12 V / 24 V charge cable, or even go solar with the solar charge cable and solar panels up to 200 Wp! Tiller-steered Travels put power in the palm of your hand. With infinitely variable speed and steering controls, the new-and-improved tiller eases docking and launching with its ultra-precise, foldable, and customizable design. Change the direction of forward and reverse, increase or decrease friction, and even use while standing! The backlit color display is built right in, with all the information you need including speed, consumption, charge status, and remaining range in time or distance. WiFi and BlueTooth come standard, so you can easily connect to the TorqView app for maps, trip logging, usage stats, maintenance info, OTA updates and other high-tech features. Intelligent battery management system (BMS)
Our intelligent battery management system (BMS) can systematically reduce the maximum power output of the electric motor to prevent overloads and extend the service life of the battery. If necessary, the BMS reduces the power output to improve the range and ensure maximum safety. This temporary power-limiting regulation is particularly effective in challenging conditions such as high ambient temperatures or insufficient cooling of the battery.
If you notice a continuous drop in performance while driving, this is due to the battery's protective device. You can avoid or reduce temporary power limitations by observing the following points:
(a) Avoid heating the battery before operation, e.g. through exposure to sunlight.
b) Operate your electric motor in the most efficient power range possible. In many applications, 30% of the maximum power must be used for the last 10% of the achievable maximum speed. For longer journeys, we therefore recommend selecting a moderate power range from the start of the journey.
c) If a power limitation sets in, additionally reduce the power if possible or allow the battery to cool down during a break.
