  • Financing information: if you choose to apply for financing, the information needed to prepare your application, which may include financial and employment details. This is used only to facilitate your application with our financing partner.

Every message identifies M-Oceans as the sender and includes a working unsubscribe link. You can withdraw your consent at any time using that link or by contacting us, and we will action your request promptly.

You may withdraw consent at any time by contacting us (see Section 11 – Contact Information). However, withdrawing consent may affect our ability to provide certain services.

  • Service providers: including Shopify, payment processors, logistics and shipping companies, email and marketing providers, and analytics and advertising providers such as Google and Hotjar.
  • Legal authorities: when required by Canadian law, regulation, or court order.
  • Business transfers: in the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your data may be transferred as part of the business.
  • Financing partner: if you apply for financing, the information needed for your application is shared with POSPRO Financial, the third-party brokerage that processes M-Oceans financing applications. POSPRO may share that information with its network of lenders to assess your application, and its use of your data is governed by its own privacy policy.

All third parties are required to maintain the confidentiality and security of your information.


5. Data Storage and Security

Your personal data is securely stored on Shopify's encrypted servers and other trusted third-party systems.

We use appropriate technical and organizational safeguards – including encryption, access controls, and secure storage – to protect your data.

Please note that no method of data transmission or electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute protection.


6. Your Rights Under Canadian Law

As a Canadian resident, you have the right to:
