Electric Outboard Motor Repair
Most electric outboard issues fall into three categories: power delivery problems, battery system faults, or mechanical wear. Our diagnostic process starts with controller data and battery health testing, then moves to physical inspection.
Standard services include battery system optimization, controller repairs, propeller and drivetrain maintenance, and full warranty service for covered repairs. We also handle the less common stuff: saltwater corrosion damage, impact repairs, and retrofitting older systems with updated components when available.
Electric Inboard & Pod Drive Service
Inboard electric systems and pod drives add complexity. You're dealing with cooling systems, sealed drive units, and integration with the boat's electrical architecture. These aren't shade-tree repairs.
We provide complete system diagnostics, power management troubleshooting, cooling system service, shaft seal inspection, and performance tuning. If your inboard system was installed through our electric boat conversion program, we already know the setup, which speeds up service considerably.
Seasonal Marine Motor Care
Electric motors still need seasonal prep, just not in the same way gas engines do. There's no fuel to stabilize or oil to change, but winterizing an electric setup is mostly about proper battery storage and making sure electrical connections are protected before the off-season. Summerization, in its turn, involves system tests and software updates that may have been released over winter.
We offer complete winterization and summerization packages, pre-season inspections, and long-term storage prep for boats staying at our facility or yours.
