Electric Inboard Aquamot Trend 2.0MA Description:
The Inboard Motor of the Trend-Line are designed for classic shaft systems or boats with existing shaft systems. They are the perfect replacement for combustion solutions and can be individually adapted to the prevailing foundation thanks to the three-dimensional motor suspension. An inboard engine that stands on its own.
The highly efficient air-cooled motor is characterized by a superior performance structure. In addition, the drive has a large thrust bearing that can easily absorb the thrust of the propeller. The coupling is the central link in the power transmission from the motor to the propeller shaft. The system can be easily adapted to many different shaft types – metric and imperial dimensions. For optimal shaft alignment between the motor and propeller shaft, a special 3-dimensionally adjustable suspension system has been developed, which also has the necessary stability to absorb the thrust of the propeller shaft. Optimized mounting feet are included as vibration dampers. In order to transmit the maximum torque to the propeller and at the same time withstand the high thrust of the propeller shaft, the shaft must also be strong enough. The large stainless steel shaft meets our quality requirements exactly.

What power is required?
All motor types are suitable for dinghies as well as larger boats up to approx. 45 feet. As a rule of thumb, depending on the hull shape and area (reserves against wind and waves), approx. 1-2 kW per ton of cruising weight can be assumed. For an exact design, please contact a specialist dealer or Aquamot.
How long can you drive with the Trend 2.0MA?
The driving time naturally depends on the capacity and quality of the batteries.
Below are examples with the Aquamot Longlife Deep-Cycle batteries.
| Trend 2.0MA with 2 Aquamot ALS batteries 12V/260Ah | Trend 4.3MA with 4 Aquamot ALS batteries 12V/260Ah | |

| Half load | 05 h 30 min | 05 h 30 min |
| Full load | 02 h 15 min | 02 h 15 min |
Can the battery bank be increased or decreased with the inboard motor Trend 2.0?
Of course, there are many ways to increase or decrease the range. In principle, however, only traction batteries should be used, which have also been designed for higher currents over a longer period (ATTENTION: no starter batteries or semi-traction batteries). In addition, a minimum capacity of at least 110Ah is recommended. All batteries should have the same capacity in order to achieve the highest possible service life. Always ask your Aquamot dealer or Aquamot about the capacity design beforehand.
What is included?
In general, the drive package includes everything (including suspension and mounting feet, without coupling) except batteries and charger. Thus, the driving lever and on-board computer are also supplied. Regarding the shaft coupling, there are 2 different options, which can be purchased additionally. The cable lengths are standardized (3m main cables, 30cm the battery brackets, 6m to the display and driving lever). A cable extension can of course be supplied at an extra charge.
How long is the warranty period?
The warranty period is 2 years.
