ePropulsion kMax Battery
Short Description:
ePropulsion kMax Battery
Designed specifically for kayak anglers and small craft, the ePropulsion 48V kMax Battery delivers serious range without sacrificing deck space. At only 24.3 lbs (11 kg) and compact dimensions of 13.8 x 7.2 x 7.6 in (350 x 183 x 192 mm), this LiFePO4 battery slips into tight spaces, inside the hull, under seats, rear wells, or larger kayak crates in multi-unit configurations.
Key Features of kMax LiFePO4 Battery
Modular Compact Design
With compact dimensions of just 13.8 × 7.1 × 7.6 in, the kMax Battery fits below deck through the hatch, freeing up valuable deck space while lowering the kayak's center of gravity for improved stability and handling. A built-in slot handle makes transport and repositioning easy.
Single Cable Installation
Installation is remarkably simple. The positive and negative cables and communication cable are all combined into a single integrated cable, allowing you to complete the entire connection in one go. Less wiring means fewer failure points and reduced clutter.
Fast Charging
Get back on the water faster with rapid recharge capability. A single battery pack recharges from 0% to 100% in as little as two hours, and even a four-battery setup can be fully charged overnight, making it ideal for professional anglers.
Waterproof to IP67
kMax battery is waterproof to IP67 standards, offering peace of mind for all-weather maritime use.
Stackable Design. Scalable Power
The modular design features a 1024 Wh battery that can be used individually or connected in parallel. Scale up to four batteries for extended range and over 4 kWh of total capacity. Parallel connection is simple. Just connect a single cable per unit, and the system handles the rest. Batteries can be stacked or arranged side by side to adapt to your kayak's available space.
Bluetooth Connectivity
Bluetooth communication lets you monitor battery state of charge and enables faster service diagnostics via the ePropulsion app. View real-time data, perform software updates, and run diagnostics from your smartphone or tablet.
Long Life Cycle
Engineered for durability, the kMax LiFePO4 battery provides up to 2,800 cycles at 80% SoH.*
*Tested at 0.5C charge and discharge rates under 25°C conditions
Effortless Portability
Built-in strap handles attach to one of four strap slots. These same slots can also be used with tie-down straps to securely fasten the battery in place.
