This mount kit is meant for self-installation of a mount on a tube. One platform accomodates two mounts (one on each flat end of the platform). No drilling of the tube is required.
The loosened retention screws allow movement of the mount along the tube without the need for detachment, and when tightened, prevent the mounting platform from rotating axially.
